Peripheral Vision Helmet
Peripheral Vision Helmet
Screenprint on Bristol Board
18" x 24"
2005

The Peripheral Vision Helmet in its flattened state is reminiscent of a rorschach blot.

The constructed Helmet trains people to use their side vision to navigate an environment, thus allowing the wearer to see things from a new viewpoint.

The vision shield flips up for regular viewing.
Inside is printed in a flat of ultramarine blue, which provides a neutral effect for the eyes.

This piece includes instructions and usage.
Peripheral Vision Helmet is particularly useful for politicians and people in positions of authority
